BIO:
Jorge is a bass player, singer, songwriter and producer born and raised in Los Angeles, CA. He has been playing music for well over a decade now, starting in his local school bands. Jorge has the experience and chops to meet any needs that may be required of him, having played with multiple acts, such as Juliet Roberts, TwoWayLight, KinseyRy, Michelle Monica, Mari AKA Candyboy and recorded with the Womack Sisters.
He made the decision to study music once graduating from high school, graduating with a degree in Music Performance in Bass.
In 2014, Jorge was brought on to play a block party show in Woodland Hills, where Aaron Carter was the headlining act to play the show. Later that year, KinseyRy brought Jorge along up to Ridgecrest to play in the historic USO building located in the area. In 2015, the Japanese American Natural Museum invited his band at the time to play an outdoor show for the local community. A couple of months after that show, that same group was invited to play the “Be-Fashionable” Fundraiser show; Christine Devine was the host and the show was also co-hosted by Damarr and Jayla Calhoun.
Later on that year, Jorge was brought on to play an outdoor show, in association with GardenWalk in Anaheim, playing with the headlining acts, TwoWayLight and Juliet Roberts. At the beginning of 2016, he was given the opportunity to play a show in association with NAMM, playing with the headlining act.
In 2017 Jorge was hired to play a 4th of July show in Crestline, CA in association with Corks and Hops, for a massive Independence Day festival, celebrating freedom, arts & crafts and music. He starred in Woodrowgerbers video “On The Moon.”
In the middle of 2019, Jorge started working with Corazón De Maná. After joining them, he has played in many different venues between California, Nevada and Arizona, including places like the Gallo Performing Arts Center in Modesto, CA, Casino Arizona in Scottsdale, AZ and most recently Puerto Vallarta, Jalisco, MX.
Jorge has released a number of songs under the artist name JB@ss, which you can look for on YouTube and all other streaming platforms.
Jorge recently played with and mixed a recorded live performance with Planet of Rhythm and is currently working on an EP project with a fellow songwriting partner.
